Thomas Runner
TopThomas Runner is a side-scrolling endless runner that hits the genre's sweet spot. Your character runs forward automatically; you only control jumping, sliding, and occasionally switching lanes. The terrain throws every classic runner obstacle at you — pits, spikes, low-hanging beams, swinging axes — and your job is to react fast enough to stay alive while collecting coins to extend your run.
Swipe up to jump, down to slide under low obstacles. On desktop, use the arrow keys or W and S. Double-jump is available after a brief recharge — useful for clearing long gaps. Power-ups appear occasionally: magnets pull coins to you, speed-boosts make you invincible, and shields absorb one hit.
Don't look at your character; look ahead. Your eyes need to be on the upcoming obstacle, not where your character currently is. Use double-jumps sparingly — chaining them means you can't recover quickly if a new obstacle appears mid-air. Coins are tempting but never worth a death — skip a coin cluster if grabbing it means hitting a spike. The longer you survive, the faster the game gets, so build your rhythm early.
Endless runners live or die by their controls, and Thomas Runner's feel tight. Every jump lands exactly where you expect it to; every slide undercuts exactly the right height. The procedural level generation keeps each run fresh, and the coin economy gives you a reason to push past your last death even when you're not chasing a personal best.
